Indian Yoga

The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root Yuj which means a great union with the Supreme Being. While meditating, an individual gets united with the supreme spirit which is the universal soul. 

Yoga asanas are immensely helpful for the body as well as the mind. It’s a time-tested practice that has its origin in ancient India. 

In recent times, one of the most sought-after Author and historian Yuval Noah Harari who has set the new way to look at the, so called socialism, and put it on retrospect. According to him ,Yoga is the only invention by human that is most genuine and salvage for the species.

The word ‘yoga’ was found in the Rig Veda, the ancient Indian text which denotes the existence of this practice in the Vedic age. The Upanishads also describe different yoga techniques and the effect of breathing exercises, sound, and meditation on the mind and soul. Later, lord Buddha also focused on and explained the great benefits of yoga and meditation to attain the Enlightenment.

Lord Krishna said, “Samatvam Yoga Uchyate” which means equanimity in mind that can be attained with Yoga. The spiritual meaning of Indian Yoga is now being recognized globally and this ancient practice infuses peace, harmony, self-realization, and infinite energy that facilitate a person to blossom fully.
